From Point Judith in Narragansett, RI, the traditional ferry takes 1-hr. High-speed takes 30-minutes. See website for full schedule, which runs every 1-2 hrs. $24 Round Trip. There are parking lots within walking distance of the ferry terminal, ~$10-15/day.

Flight
Flights run nearly every hour to and from the island, ~12 minute flight. One way: $74, Round trip: $144. Call 401-596-2460 or 800-243-2460 to make reservations.
Flight
If you're flying into the Northeast, Providence or Boston will be the closest airports to access the Point Judith Ferry in Narragansett (304 Great Island Road, Narragansett, RI). From Providence, it takes about 35 minute of travel to the Point Judith Ferry Terminal. From Boston, it takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes to travel to the ferry. Taxi, Uber/Lyft, or car rental are best options. Be sure to budget extra time in case of traffic. Note: The island is manageable without a car, but if you are considering bringing one over, Point Judith is the only ferry offering car service (reservations are fairly expensive & competitive so be sure to book in early 2025).
Train
Friends coming from NYC: Take the Amtrak from New York Penn Station to New London, Connecticut, ~2 hour and 30 minutes. The New London Ferry to Block Island is directly across the train tracks.
