Stretching through the heart of downtown, this historic street has something for everyone: charming boutiques, trendy shops, cozy cafés, and some of the best restaurants in the city.
Established in the 1800s, this historic market stretches for four blocks through downtown and is filled with local artisans, handmade goods, sweet treats, and iconic Lowcountry charm.
Start your walk at Rainbow Row, a row of colorful historic homes that’s straight out of a postcard. Head down to The Battery, a beautiful waterfront promenade lined with grand old mansions and sweeping harbor views. Finish at White Point Garden, a peaceful park filled with oak trees, blooming flowers, and plenty of Southern charm. It’s the perfect little escape in the heart of the city.
While oysters and seafood aren’t for everyone, Corey and I absolutely love them—and Charleston is one of the best places to enjoy them! If you’re a fellow seafood fan, we highly recommend checking out a few of our favorites: The Darling Oyster Bar – Chic, cozy, and perfect for a date night or a round of oysters and bubbly. 167 Raw – A tiny spot with big flavors—amazing lobster rolls, oysters, and crudo. The Delaney Oyster House – A beautiful historic setting with fresh, elevated seafood dishes and craft cocktails.
