We met on the dance floor at Johnny’s Hideaway in Atlanta. It was truly one of those movie moments where you lock eyes across the room and everything else fades away. By the following week, we were on our first date, and we've been glued ever since.
We decided to spend our 1 year anniversary in the city of love for a whole month, this was the best decision ever. (we may have even decided this on date #1 oops) Somewhere between morning croissants, long walks along the Seine, and falling even more in love with the city, Paris became a place we’ll always hold close to our hearts.
We decided to take the next step and start our life together by moving in for the first time and making the move from Georgia to Florida. It was a fresh start filled with excitement, change, and so much joy as we built a home of our own.
Over my birthday weekend, Teddy planned the surprise of a lifetime. After keeping this secret from me for months, flying in all of my closest family and friends, in the Eden State Gardens, with a violinist and singer, he popped the question. The celebration continued all day with a family brunch, a girlfriend's beach picnic, and a night out surrounded by all of our favorite people.
This June, we’re heading back to Paris, a city that holds such a special place in our hearts, to elope, just the two of us. We’re so excited to share this quiet, meaningful moment together and start our marriage in the most intimate way. And we can’t wait to celebrate with all of our family and friends afterward!
