Dr. Ariel and Dr. Ashley met through Ashley’s oldest friend Jamie Richard during their senior year in high school. It wasn’t until later they discovered they are cousins! Two years ago, Dr. Ariel joined the sisterhood of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. that would further bond them as eternal sisters. Dr. Ariel, a Psychologist, and Dr. Ashley, a Psychiatrist, further intertwined their worlds with their passion for mental health and now have the opportunity to work together professionally. Dr. Ariel is Ashley’s cousin-Soror-best friend. With that type of bond, and a 22 year friendship history, Ashley is honored to have Dr. Ariel Mitchell as her Matron of Honor. Dr. Ariel is married to Mr. D’Juan Mitchell, who together recently celebrated their 10 year wedding anniversary.
