They met in the most unlikely of circumstances on an unlikely night. While Tee thought he was just going out to hang out with a few friends for karaoke at Seville Quarter, Kianna was going to support her friend in a seperate karaoke event at Casks and Flights. Kianna, who would not normally be out on a Wednesday night, had taken the following day off to celebrate her mom's birthday. After leaving Casks and Flights, a few people decided to head over to Seville and Kianna decided to tag along thinking, at the very least, she could maybe see what was going on at Latin Night. When she walked in, Tee passed her and wanted to talk to her, but got nervous and didn't say anything. A little later, when Kianna was sitting at the bar, talking to the bartender who was a friend of a friend, Tee came up to her and offered to buy her a drink. Shocked, Kianna accepted. Their first conversation began there. They found out they were both teachers (so being out on a Wednesday was strange for both of them). She found out he was really into football. He found out she was really into reading. They walked around the whole building, talking for hours about anything from their favorite foods, to football, to Marvel and DC characters. When they left, they went to Waffle House and continued their conversation there for another hour. When they parted ways, he kissed her and left with the plan that they would go on a date on Friday. Thursday was a frenzy of text messages and excitement about what was to come. Friday came. They went on their date at the Fish House, then walked around downtown, stopping to talk about what a relationship could mean for the both of them in the Plaza Ferdinand VII park. They both knew this was something special. A little over a year and a half later, he proposed to her in that same park.
