Things To Do

Golden Gate Park

100 John F Kennedy Dr, San Francisco, CA 94118

Walk through the park, and be sure to check out the Japanese Tea Garden, the Conservatory of Flowers, and go up the tower of the deYoung Museum for a great view! If you have more time, we recommend the California Academy of Sciences, or walking through the rest of the park to see Stow Lake, the Bison Paddock, and make it out to the ocean for a stunning sunset!

North Beach

601 Union St, San Francisco, CA 94133

Walk up to Coit Tower for some beautiful views, have a tasty Italian dinner (there are SO many good options), and catch our favorite show in the city, Dear San Francisco, at Club Fugazi. For afters, check out Comstock for some of the best cocktails in the city! This is also on a cable car line so easy to access from the hotels.

Fisherman’s Wharf

801 Beach St, San Francisco, CA 94109

Hit the farmers market at the ferry building, then walk along the water North to the Exploratorium, a super fun and interactive museum. Keep going north and you can see the sea lions at Pier 39, walk through the shops at Fisherman’s Wharf, and end at Ghirardelli Square for a chocolate sundae!

The Mission

3692 18th St, San Francisco, CA 94110

Our neighborhood! Head to Dolores park for sunshine and city views, and grab an ice cream from BiRite or Garden Creamery (our favorites). For lunch, the mission has the best burritos, for sit down, we love Puerto Allegro. For grab-n-go, el Buen Sabor is always great. Valencia Street is full of fun shops and exploring is always a good time. Blondies Bar is a fun spot with killer (and by that I mean strong) drinks, and always has a dance floor going.

Marin County

87 Throckmorton Ave, CA 94941

Across the bridge you enter Shosh’s hometown. For lunch try Sol Food for some Puerto Rican food. Our favorite hikes are Steep Ravine, Dipsea, and any hike that goes to the top of Mt. Tamalpais (where we got engaged!). If you plan far enough in advance you can get a parking reservation at Muir Woods (aka Endor) for a hike in some massive redwoods. The Headlands are also full of great hikes and views, and both Mill Valley and Sausalito are beautiful towns to walk around. For a nice dinner try Buckeyes Roadhouse for some great steak.
