Please arrive to the beach 30-45 minutes early. Monastery Beach is located off of Highway 1 Please arrive by 4:30 as parking may take some time and walking to the beach location will be required. Ceremony will start at 5pm. Please note that there is sand at the beach ceremony, so if needed bring an alternative pair of shoes or sandles that is ideal for walking on the sand.

Answer

Parking is free and along the shoulder of Highway 1 directly next to the beach. Please note there is no parking lot. You can park perpendicular or parallel on the side of the highway directly touching the beach. Overflow parking extends further south on the beach side of the highway towards point Lobos. The ceremony will be located on the south side of the beach so depending where you park, some walking might be required. Please be careful of oncoming traffic when crossing or walking close to the highway =) Alternatively to reduce congestion, you have the option of parking in the Carmel Fields (wedding reception venue) parking lot, and carpooling / ubering to the beach (Located 3.3 miles away). The ceremony will be at Monestary Beach, Carmel, CA Immediately following the ceremony the reception is a 10 min drive north east to Carmel Fields by Wedgewood Weddings: 4860 Carmel Valley Rd, Carmel-By-The-Sea California 93923

The weather in Carmel in September is mildly cool and humid but cool, with average highs of 71°F (21°C) and lows of 57°F (14°C).

Dress Code: Cocktail Attire Inspired by the colors of the coast and our love for the ocean and nature, our wedding palette includes Navy Blue, Teal, Eucalyptus, and Sage - feel free to coordinate if you'd like to match the vibe. Please note that there is sand at the beach ceremony, so if needed bring an alternative pair of shoes or sandles that is ideal for walking on the sand.
