Groomsman
Adam Braun first came into Luke’s life when they lived three doors down from each other freshman year in college, and then spent their 20’s convincing people that the band “3 Doors Down” was named after them, during a decade long travel montage. Adam is known for his sense of adventure, his passion for education, and more recently for his Gerber baby model identical twins Bayla and Dylan. His incredible wife, Tehillah, eclipses him socially, emotionally, and physically, but as of writing this still gets absolutely stomped in Robot dance-offs.
Groomsman
This Brown University alum is a former professional hockey player, who channeled his love of summer time games and memories into a career running a summer camp for grown-ups. As a former button-salesmen, Adam has a giant exterior to match his equally giant heart. Driving across the country on a 6-week RV trip in the fall of 2009, Adam was Luke’s bunk mate, as well as the consumer of all the Fabreeze. Adam is thoughtful, sensitive, and constantly ‘Hummeled’ by his wife Jaclyn, their Berne-doodle, and their future daughter “Lil’ miss Tich”.
Groomsman
Alex Furer went to a small liberal arts school in Cambridge Massachusetts with Luke’s Brother, Max. It was years later, living in neighboring apartments in the East Village that Alex and Luke truly bonded over their love of ski-ball, dancing, puzzle fighter, and 2 for 1 drink nights at dingy sushi restaurants. These days, Alex has made the ‘unheard of’ move to Connecticut, with his incredible wife Audra, and their young daughter Kenner. Alex is loyal, hilarious, and has been playing the same RPG on his iPhone since 2011.
Maid of Honor
Anne Parke is the Gillian to the Bride's Sally. (If you haven’t watched Practical Magic, you are doing yourself a disservice.) Entering the brides life when she needed her most in the Fall of 2005, Anne brought with her a sincerity, wry sense of humor, adventurous spirit and willingness to hold hands that made her indispensible. These two explain their closeness by saying they’re sorority siblings but the truth of the matter is they simply share the same life philosophy - always throw spilled salt over your left shoulder, keep rosemary by your garden gate, plant roses and lavender for luck and fall in love whenever you can.
Groomsman
Ben Feit and Luke Tedaldi’s friendship began early in their youth, but reached peak levels (and have stayed there ever since) when they won the state tennis championship together at Newton North High School, and Ben jumped higher than Luke had ever seen a human male jump. Ben is monstrously intelligent, wildly democratic, and recently engaged to Nicole Gill and Prince Harry.
Man of Honor
The Bradford, as he is known by a select few, is one of the kindest and most delightful friends the bride has ever had. Whether he is educating the general public on how all leather jackets should come with a pack of cigarettes regardless of whether you smoke or not, planning a puppy party for his beloved wife (Danielle McLaughlin, see below) or generally rocking his after-hours gig as Apartment 37's resident DJ, The Bradford brings a very specific mix of the earnest, the thoughtful and the ready for anything.
Groomsman
Dan Teicher is credited with such indelible quotes as : “ write Dan Teicher is the Handsome groomsman, clearly - on your website”. Dan Teicher is the consummate rock-star. A music composition major at Brown, Dan moved to New York after college in search of rock n’ roll, friendship, the perfect conditioner that would allow for controlled volume, and his badass partner in crime- professional boxer Laura Martin Teicher. Dan is compassionate, sweet, liberal with bullhorns and audible “YOWWWWSSS”, and the owner of the sharpest cheekbones this side of the Mississippi.
Matron of Honor
Olivia absolutely adores Danielle. There are few people Olivia trusts or enjoys having over more than the gleefully, forcefully, overtly opinionated and deeply grounded Danielle. Olivia and Danielle met through Megan, Danielle's middle school best friend and favorite object of torment. What began as a shared appreciation for being seriously ride or die down the to the butt check, Emily Gilmore, making any recipe that Chrissy Teigen can come up with and deciding which dinosaur they were in a past life (Olivia: Triceratops - Danielle: T-Rex) has cemented into a relationship that has forced Olivia to re-think her dislike of cats.
Groomsman
Danny Musengo and Luke lived together for 3 years in Bushwick, creating an artist community known as the Bogart collective that is responsible for 2 albums, 1 movie, 13 ‘haunted as hell’ paintings with oddly moving eyes, 1/2 of a cult, and hundreds of friendships. Danny has the soul of poet and sings in multiple New York City bands, while also writing, painting, and dabbling in every conceivable form of art. Danny is Loving, generous, tender, and fully capable of having telepathic conversations about the deep space field image, and its modern implications on the Fermi Paradox.
Groomsman
David Caperna is a wolf wrapped in wolfs clothing. Dave and Luke cemented their friendship at summer camp... in 2013. It seemed liked destiny, when Dave, dressed as a Johnny Cash Pirate in fishnets, came up to Luke, in a pacifist Wolverine costume and said; “Let’s get dark”. Dave is ferociously kind, aggressively warm, loves a rare steak and a rarer whiskey, and has teamed up with his better half Nadira, to form the Brooklyn superhero team “Panther and Wolf”.
Matron of Honor
Olivia and Diana met when they were children and spent many a weekend having sleepovers in the bride's all pink bedroom watching Anne of Green Gables on repeat. Wait, wait...nope, that's just what it feels like. These two met as adult women and are that rare example of instant friends that didn’t start in the sandbox. With their unique sense of perspective, pragmatic spirits and a love of all things cozy (people, places, things, foods, etc.) these two have a bond that even the miles inflicted by Diana's Abercrombie-model hot husband Shane's decision to attend business school in California, can't shake. (But seriously, Shane, when do I get her back? You keep avoiding this conversation.)
Groomsman
Dylan Tedaldi is Luke’s youngest “Hunk” brother, who ran away from home at the age of 17 with an empty wallet, one of those cartoon sticks with a bandana tied at the end housing his worldly possessions, and the public consensus that he was one of the worlds best Ballet dancers. These days, he is dancing in Israel as part of the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company, and teaching his Dog, Louis Jerome, how to scream like a human child. Dylan is feisty, poetic, loving, and still thinking about putting his other fingers into high-powered table fans.
Maid of Honor
Wolf and Fox. Fox and Wolf. Without Fox (Erin), there would be no Wolf (Olivia). Olivia and Erin met through Megan but didn't bond until they spent a cold, snowy evening on the bride's bright yellow couch (#RIPMamaSusanCouch) watching Auntie Mame. Built with confidence, and built to last, together these two have handled broken hearts, broken furniture and broken speed limits (and the attendant panic attacks) with a joyful humor and an unconditional love for each other. This is a friendship that has only gotten better with time. Much like Mame and Vera.
Maid of Honor
No one knows you like the person with whom you’ve shared a childhood. Introduced as babies by their mothers, Olivia and Fatima have been friends for almost 35 years and have the stories to match. Raised by women who have often been compared to forces of nature, Olivia and Fatima’s bond built on being strong, sophisticated women with a passion for the classics - good books, great cities and even better adventures – has only gotten better with time. Fatima's powerful sense of self, brilliant taste in all things and deep sense of loyalty have always been an inspiration and a safe haven for the bride.
Groomsman
Gabriel Bourgeois and Luke have known each other since freshman year in college at Brown, but didn’t truly become best friends until they both moved to New York, and subsequently traveled the world together in search of the perfect street food. Gabe loves breakfast cereal, being uncannily successful at his job, his Canadian passport, and dreaming about that night in Bangkok when he went wandering into the city night with Luke, only to stumble upon a local fisherman-only restaurant at 4AM, and be publicly shamed into eating snake-head fish stew.
Maid of Honor
If Olivia had a big sister, Gwen would be it. When they met a decade ago at Vera Wang, the bride was starting her first fashion job and Gwen was the best thing that possibly could have happened to her. Quickly taken under Gwen’s wing, the bride learned that sometimes you just have to say “I quit!” and I mean it, that not filling the silence can get you the answer you wanted all along and that the coldest environments sometimes yield the warmest friendships. Kind, feisty and confident, Gwen's trademark “firm but fair” take on the world and laughter, even when life gets painfully real, are things the bride has come to count on.
Groomsman
Jay Jentz and Luke Tedaldi met on the baseball diamonds of their youth. Jay was an ace pitcher, and Max and Luke were lightening runners around the bases. Perhaps from the urgings of a teenage coach who had a deep seeded hatred of twins, Jay beaned both Max and Luke in the head, in back to back at-bats, thus prompting the two of them to think; “Now this is a red- head that I can really get behind, full of gumption...razzmatazz,’ and they have been friends ever since. Jay is fun-loving, beyond loyal, and working on his transition into a fully Greek man with his adoring wife Panagiota.
Matron of Honor
The first time Olivia and Jennie met, Jennie took the brides arm in a crowded bar and said “They’re a lot. I’m so glad you’re here!” Knowing how important Jennie and Max were to her new boyfriend, there could not have been a more perfect greeting or more perfect introduction to the confident, spirited and loving Jennie Tedaldi. There are so many fantastic things about Jennie but, if Olivia were pressed to pick her favorites, they would include Jennie's massive heart, enthusiasm for all things cozy and fun and inability to not eat cheese or pasta at any opportunity. Because, let’s be real, Luke is fantastic but it’s having Jennie as a friend and sister-in-law that really sealed the deal.
Groomsman
Jude Tedaldi is Luke’s younger ‘Witch’ brother, and possesses a terrifyingly creative and wondrous brain, which has led him to Julliard, Columbia, CalArts, and most recently into the depths of a Satanic Pentagonal Cello resuscitation ceremony gone awry. Jude’s fiery spirit is only matched by his luscious red curls, and impeccable fashion sense. Jude is passionate, loving, cuddly, and still composing his grand Opus, 20 years in the making, “A Chicken named Samuel”.
Officiant
The first thing that everyone notices the first time they meet Max Tedaldi, is how shockingly handsome he is. From his chiseled bone structure, to his inhumanely green eyes, Max is a paradigm of elegance and Beauty. Max and Luke met upon initial Ovum duplication in the womb, and they have been inseparable ever since. Max is warm, kind, mischievous, and more than eager to talk about how he married a Disney Princess.
Officiant
Olivia and Megan met in 2014 when the Universe decided they really weren't doing that great without each other and that living on the edge of Crown Heights next to a condemned building with a pot farm out back would be exactly the kind of unexpected adventure to create a bond that can’t be broken. Megan is a bright, vivacious and accomplished young woman with a big heart and a smart mouth who has taught the bride many things about what “we” think about every situation, drinking black coffee, knowing what you want and that there isn’t a bad day that can’t be fixed by eating tacos standing up in the kitchen with red wine and a close friend.
Groomsman
Mike Strom and Luke have a friendship that has truly stood the test of time. From the 1st day of kindergarten, to date nights in their 20’s and 30’s on Martha’s Vineyard, Mike is, in the truest sense of the word, a “forever pal”. As children Luke and Max used to walk to Mike’s house on the way to Peirce elementary school and get some much needed ‘extra recess’ time in the Strom’s backyard. This culminated in a fateful 5:30AM arrival time one spring morning, unbeknownst to either of their parents, and led to a stricter extra recess morning policy. Mike is sweet, adoring, and lives in Boston with his incredible wife Sophie, and their adorable daughter Evie - he still reads Calvin and Hobbes comic strips to this very day.
Matron of Honor
It's been about 20 years and Mary Rennie is still one of the bride’s favorite people in the whole wide world. (This list also includes Keith Richards and Cookie Monster so, take it for what you will.) Olivia and MR met when MR was a freshman in high school and Olivia was a junior at The High School. These two first lived across the hall from each other and bonded over Radiohead, not being cool and a French culture obsession that definitely leaned towards Marie-Antoinette-centric royalty loyalty. Frank, observant and grounded, MR’s certainty about life and lack of pretense are always refreshing.
Groomswoman
Natalie Clark and Luke have been best friends since the early days of the Bogart Collective. Their friendship has seen the production of multiple short films, one movie, a seemingly never ending stream of dinner parties, and more road trips in a maroon Dodge Caravan than thought possible. Natalie is generous, magical, energetic, and lives in Brooklyn with her incredible children Bella and Luke, and her rock star partner Joe. Natalie is a curator of people and experiences, and if you see her wearing a tuxedo with a top hat, you know that you are in the right place.
Groomsman
Paul Weinfield and Luke have been best friends for 4 or maybe 3612 years, one can never be sure. Paul is a philosopher, a practitioner of meditation, a professor, a musician, a writer, but above all an incredibly thoughtful and passionate friend. Paul and Luke took a photo together on a boat 2 Summers ago which has been erased from the public record due to an accidental similarity between it and a Wham! Album cover.
