FAQs

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Question

Is there a dress code for the welcome happy hour?

Answer

Yes, semi-formal //cocktail attire! Guys, slacks with a polo or button-up are great, or you can go more formal with a sport coat or suit if you’d like. Ladies, a cocktail or midi-length dress or sundress is perfect. We just want to see everyone, so wear whatever you feel most comfortable in!

Question

How do I get to the Sunset Terrace at the Tommy Bahama Miramonte Hotel?

Answer

There are two ways to access the Sunset Terrace. If you are arriving by Uber or another drop-off service, you will be dropped off at the front of the hotel lobby. Enter the lobby and either ask the front desk for directions to the Sunset Terrace or follow the stairs upstairs. Continue straight until you can exit the hotel to the outside, then turn left—the Sunset Terrace will be there. If you are arriving from the hotel parking lots, follow the path toward the hotel restaurant, Grapefruit Basil. Walk toward the back of the restaurant patio, where you will find stairs that lead up to the Sunset Terrace.

Question

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Yes, the dress code is Formal Attire! Think elegant and polished: Men should wear a suit with a tie; women can choose a midi to a floor-length dress. This is a formal event, please leave jeans, sneakers, and casual pieces at home—we can’t wait to see you all dressed up!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is extremely limited parking at the venue. To keep things easy and stress-free, we kindly request that you use Uber, Lyft, or another ride service for a smooth travel experience to and from the venue, allowing you to fully enjoy the celebration. Please let us know if you anticipate driving so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Where should I be dropped off if taking a rideshare?

Answer

If you are arriving via Uber or Lyft, please have your driver drop you off directly outside the front gates. From there, you can walk straight into the ceremony area to get situated.

Question

What should I do if I absolutely must drive to the venue?

Answer

If you must drive, please follow these specific directions to our designated parking area based on your arrival route: From Jefferson St: Take the first left immediately after you pass the front gates. From Madison St: Take the right-hand turn immediately before you reach the venue. Once you have parked in the designated space, walk across the back terrace to the other side of the venue. From there, you can walk up the driveway to reach the ceremony site. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes early to allow for parking and walking to your seat.

Question

What time does the ceremony start?

Answer

The ceremony begins promptly at 4:30 PM. Please arrive before or around 4:15 PM to allow time to find your seat and get settled.

Question

Can I bring a plus one or additional guests?

Answer

As much as we’d love to have everyone bring a guest or their kids, we’re keeping the celebration intimate, so invitations are limited to the names formally listed on your invitation or RSVP.
