We’re Married!!

We met through a mutual friend’s social media page on an app called Periscope in October 2015. Once we realize that we liked each other through this social media app we decided to keep communication going by texting, calling, and video chat!! (No catfishing here! LOL) As we continued to keep talking we realize that we had a connection and we wanted to meet in person. Now at the time Larry was living in Fort Lauderdale, FL and Shakeema was living in Syracuse, NY. So finally in April 2016 we decided to meet in person. We’re so glad we did because we had an instant connection and we’ve been together ever since!

It was the last day of the New York State Fair, and we decided to go. When we arrived we got caught in a thunder storm and was completely soaked. Oddly enough we decided to stay and meet up with our friends. As the sun was starting to set we got on the Ferris wheel and Larry was professing his love to me as we were heading to the top. Right as we reached the top of the Ferris wheel Larry asked "Will You Marry Me?" and of course I said "Yes!!!" Thank you for allowing us to share our moment with you and this new chapter in our lives!! We can't wait to see you all on our special day!!!
