July 4, 2015 while I was working a double shift at QuikTrip, Ty came in and asked me for change for $100. I playfully told him we didn’t have any change for $100 so i couldn’t grant his request. Shortly after I changed his money and he went on his happy way. Few hours later, he called asking for ‘Ms Mercy’. Coincidencely I was the clerk that answered the phone. Told him he was speaking with her; he then proceeded to say the Holy Spirit said I was to be his wife so he needed to take me out on a date. I laughed and told him I did not do dates. However he was very persistent and said if i didn’t feel comfortable with him picking me up then we can meet at an agreeded upon location. A week later we went on our first date; talked, laughed and had fun all night long. At that very moment we both knew this was it for us—took a little bit convincing on my part but the rest is history. #ToGODBeTheGlory ##WESSON4ETERNITY

From the very beginning of our relationship, we both knew marriage was our end goal. Ty was very persistent about obeying GOD in making me his wife. Consequently, few months into our relationship he unofficially—with no ring—proposed to me in my room, to which I said yes. A year later, on Valentine’s Day, he took me to my newfound sushi place and re-proposed with a ring; Of course I said yes!! However, our love story has been challneged many times; causing us to postpone our engagement and wedding. Nonetheless, what GOD put together, no one can separate! The week of Christmas 2021, while at work, Ty thought it’d be more fitting for him to come to my working place at Quiktrip and reproposed again, since it all began at Quiktrip 7 years ago…… ToGODBeTheGlory ##WESSON4ETERNITY
