Thank you so much for visiting our wedding website! We are super excited to celebrate our special day with everyone. This journey will be full of firsts for us, and we can't wait to experience every moment. It means a lot that our friends and family can be a part of that. Just a note: We have planned our wedding with everyone's safety at our top priority during COVID-19. We want everyone to be healthy as much as we want you to have fun! With that being said, masks will be provided to wear during the ceremony, and we've kept distancing in mind with seating at both the ceremony and reception dinner. Our story began in the most normal of ways, we worked together. The paths of our lives, as crazy as they were, led us to each other. I’m not sure which one of us noticed each other first but what I do know is that she was the closest thing to perfect I had ever seen. I had said hello in passing a few times, as hard as it was with my breath being taken from me every time. I started to ask around about who she was, what she did for fun, everything and anything I could learn about her. A couple of weeks had passed, and I was walking back to my department with a friend named Logan. I looked over into the woman’s department, and there she was. Stretching up high to get something on a clothing rail, not really doing anything all that special. I knew it right then and there, and at that time I even told my friend that I would indeed marry her someday. He thought I was crazy. After that we had gone out a few times on drives and random activities, and we started to date shortly after that. I don’t know how I knew; I just did. And our first kiss, which was at a red light in front of a Walmart; Now that’s a moment I can live in forever. Marrying Tia is the closest way to making it possible. Thanks to me, Alex had to improvise a bit. He had a beautiful, well thought out plan, but there was one flaw in his strategy. I don't wake up easy in the morning....at all actually. We all know that I love my sleep, and his original plan was to get me to his destination at SUNRISE! Let's just say that didn't quite work out. For WEEKS he tried to get me up for one reason or another, "Hunny, we're going to be productive let's get up early to exercise; let's go get breakfast; let's go for a nice drive!" Nothing. That is until one day, when around 10 or 11am he hit me with the "Sweetie, need to go for a drive, I've been feeling down....please come with me." We drove up to this quiet, wide open field out in no-where town, which wasn't odd for us as we love taking a couple hours to venture out to random places together. We parked, and walked (with me in front) into the field, where you could see sun, mountains and open spaces for miles where we stood. I was surprised at how beautiful the view was that I didn't realize Alex wasn't walking beside me (I completely fell for trick 🤦🏾‍♀️). When I turned around, there he was on one knee. So much emotion! Both of our inner dorks came out a bit. He asked a question, I gave him an answer (the right one of course), and at that moment we set a path for our future together. I love you so much.
