In March 2020, all temples for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints closed due to the Covid19 pandemic. Adjusting to the times, we threw out our original wedding plans and were civilly married outside of the Payson temple with an in-person audience of 20 people. Dear friends and family who felt comfortable attending did so socially distanced or virtually via Zoom. Since our covid wedding, we have looked forward to being sealed in the temple, hoping our families and friends would be able to attend. However, we both have large families spread out across the country and our dream of having you, our dear ones, attend has not been possible because of restricted guest numbers due to covid. Since our civil wedding, we regularly checked in with the Payson temple about the number of guests allowed in the sealing, but it has been very limited until now, as restrictions have lifted enough that we can have the full guest capacity in our scheduled sealing room. Hooray! We have eagerly looked forward to this crowning day all of our lives surrounded by family and friends. We are excited to celebrate this very special event with you! :) Side note: It will not quite be 2 years since we were married civilly outside the Payson temple on April 25, 2020, but we will be sealed on the 3 year anniversary of our first date on April 15, 2019. We have learned from our personal experience that time flies especially fast when you are happy! đâ¤ď¸
