Our Story
How did we meet?
JULY 2017
We met at a Young Adult Venite (Holy Hour and Social Hour) at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Middleton. That was the first time Nikki met the guy with the purple and white truck. We knew each other for a year and half before we started dating.
First Date
10.31.2018
Our first date was pumpkin carving at Justin's apartment. Justin was excited he had a carving kit leftover from last year so he could impress Nikki with how prepared he was. He was surprised when Nikki, secretly a pumpkin carving pro, showed up with a drill and her own carving tools. We hit it off and went on our next 4 dates in 7 days!
Meeting Nikki's Fam
FEB 2019
Justin tagged along for Nikki's niece's birthday in the Twin Cities, four months after we started dating. We visited the Science Museum of Minnesota and the girls loved having Justin to explore the museum with!
Meeting Justin's Fam
APR 19
Nikki got to visit Albuquerque and meet Justin's family for the first time over our first Easter together. She had a great time exploring the sites, hiking the Sandia Mountains, sampling New Mexican food, and hanging out with the family!
The Proposal

Justin surprised Nikki with a letter board wrapped as a present for Christmas Eve that read Will You Marry Me? When Nikki turned around after opening the present, Justin was down on one knee. Spoiler Alert: She said Yes!
