Gloria is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority who Janis met when she moved to California. She’s from Louisiana and is married to Michael. Janis and Gloria are travel and spa buddies and spend their time trying to find ways to raise money for college students in the local community.

Janis met Renee when Renee was a Freshman at Clark College & Janis was a Resident Assistance in the dorm they both live in - Pfeiffer Hall. Renee is currently living in Dallas. Many years ago, Renee lived in the San Diego area and Janis came to visit her a couple of times. Funny how things have changed as Janis also lived in Dallas too. Renee and Janis are Sorority sisters and actually pledged together many years ago.
Diletha Waldon

Diletha and Janis have been friends since the 8th grade at 13 years old, graduated from high school together and both attended Clark College in Atlanta. During their Junior year of college, they pledged Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority together. She resides in Atlanta. Diletha loves to travel and go on travel adventures and has traveled with Janis a few times.

Nikita and Janis met outside of college as she is the baby of the group. Nikita is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and The Links Inc. She is a graduate of Clark Atlanta University formerly known as Clark College. She was initiated into the same chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha - Alpha Pi just like Janis, Renee and Diletha.

Kendall is Janis’ youngest daughter is a sophomore at. Clark Atlanta University majoring in Economics.

Gabriel aka Gabe is the son of the bride. He attended Clark Atlanta University and Creighton University. Gabe lives in Omaha, Nebraska

Linda is a dear Soror Friend and Link Sister who’s married to Jayson who is Janis’ cousin. She will keep us all in line!

Curtis is a brother to Ernest as they grew up in the same house. After Ernest's mother passed away, he went to live with his Uncle, Aunt and Cousins.

Robbie attended High School and College with Ernest in New York. Over the years they have remained close and Ernest is his children's godfather.
Janis Parker Moore
Bride
The Bride is originally from Atlanta, GA and has relocated a few times for work in the last few years. An Engineer turned HR professional with goals to be a philanthropist. Team Pressley will be in California until retirement when they will pack their bags and head east to southern Virginia. Until then, we are California Dreaming!
Ernest Pressley
Groom
Ernest has spent the last 30 plus years in Southern California working in and around San Diego as an Electronics Engineer. He enjoys tinkering with gadgets and home automation. His favorite past times are yelling at Alexa, listening to music, smoking ribs and cigars. He can be found most evenings in the cigar lounge listening to music with a Cohiba in his hands.

Michael is a die hard New Orleans Saints fan who resides in Victorville, CA. He is married to Gloria the Matron of Honor and he is father to Jordan and Kayla and grandfather to Preston. Ernest and Michael can be found almost every weekend watching college and professional sports - Football, Boxing, Basketball and Cigars

Hasan is Ernests second cousin from South Carolina. Hasan is an Engineer by profession and a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity.
