Shelby & Brian

Brian first asked me to marry him on July 4th, and I said yes! Then, he led us in an intimate time of prayer and communion as we laid our desire for marriage before the Lord and asked Him to bless it. 

Brian and I decided to keep the first phase of our engagement private as we met regularly for pre-marital counseling with a couple from our church. Before we shared our excitement with the world and began planning our wedding, it was important to us to learn what it means to be a husband and wife, and how we can best love one another as we step into those roles. 

Now, having completed our preparation, Brian proposed on December 10th and (surprise, surprise) I said yes! God has been so good to us.
