Who knew online dating could lead to all of this? We were both on the Hinge app and it was not leading to much. Late one night we messaged each other out of boredom and instantly bonded over our love of sports, our dark senses of humor, and sarcasm. A week later we met in a hole in the wall bar to watch the first of many basketball games together.

Dustin and I had been on the road for months while I worked with Covid patients in different hospitals. I had seen so much darkness and we had been through so much. As we headed home and stopped at a friends, Dustin decided there was no more need to wait because life is just too short. So he got down on one knee in his friends back yard and told me how he couldn't live without me! Technically he never asked if I would marry him, he blacked out before that could happen which we still laugh about!!

2020 will always be remembered as a rough year for most people. We originally wanted to plan a wedding for Halloween of 2020, but did not think we could get it together fast enough. After some bad months passed and Brittany spent a lot of time working with Covid patients and traveling, we decided we had no good reasons to wait for marriage. On 10/31/2020 we got legally married in a very small ceremony in our back yard. Now, here we are! It is 2021 and we are ready to have everyone we love in the same place and celebrate!
