It's on! However, with Hawaii's travel ban, we've deiced to have a smaller gathering (<100) and limit our mainland guests to immediate family.
Not at this point. According to the governor's latest announcement, outdoor events with less than 100 guests are acceptable as long as social distancing guidelines are followed. If local laws change, we may need to limit our headcount even further. We thank you in advance for understanding if we need to limit our gathering to immediate family if the law evolves.
We're still learning and planning what a wedding might look like in a post Covid-19 environment. But the safety of our friends and family remain a top priority. To celebrate safely, some thoughts at the moment include mandatory masks, hand sanitizer stations, spaced out seating, plated meals/self-contained food options. Fortunately our wedding ceremony and reception take place within a large, spacious garden so our guests aren't confined within walls and have ample space to properly distance.
We will let our guests know by the first week in July if and how our wedding plans may be affected by current guidelines and how we plan to pivot and adjust as needed.
If your RSVP details online specifies your kids then yes. If not, we would prefer if it was just you due to COVID-19 limitations. We love your kids—we really do. But we also want our wedding to be your night off!
Garden attire. Keep in mind, Hawaii is hot and humid in July so dress comfortably.
