We first met at The Cliff House in Manitou Springs in 2022. For the first couple of years, we were just friendly co-workers who occasionally crossed paths but never hung out outside of work. Little did we know that something special was quietly waiting for the right moment. (Although, if you ask Matt, he'll tell you he had a crush on Abby from the very beginning!) Matt had asked Abby out a few times, but she wasn't quite ready yet. In the middle of January 2025, during an employee appreciation party, Abby asked Matt if he wanted to go out for cocoa. From that moment on something just clicked and things started to spark! A couple of weeks later, on February 7th, we went on our first official date at a cozy little shop downtown called Pikes Peak Lemonade. Abby brought her dog Ally along, which made it more fun. That day felt effortless and natural, like we'd known each other forever. There was an undeniable feeling between us - the kind of feeling that makes you realize, this is love. Since then we've been inseparable. Whether it is doing something exciting or just enjoying the simple, quiet moments, we're the happiest side by side.
