Meredith and Trenton had mutual friends for a few years but somehow never crossed paths or noticed each other until one fateful zoom "happy hour" courtesy of the dreaded COVID. It was in that zoom chat that Trenton first noticed Meredith's spunky personality and sparkly blue eyes. She even looked cute when frozen mid sentence. Later that spring Meredith tagged along with some friends to Trenton's birthday party. Though she didn't know why yet, she did know that she wanted to get him a gift that would stand out. Something that would be different from what was expected, so she brought him flowers. It wasn't time yet for their love to be realized, however. Over the summer the zoom calls with friends continued and turned into more get-togethers as the world slowly reopened. Trenton had a house perfect for hosting gatherings but hated planning events. He once let it be known that anyone was welcome to plan get togethers at his home anytime and just let him know when to have the house clean. Well if you know Meredith, you know she loves hosting a soirée. She needed no nudging after that to take full advantage of poor unknowing Trenton's offer and immediately got to work using his house to host their friends. A few pool parties, a bon fire, and a Friendsgiving later, things were staring to heat up between the two. They were still unaware that they would be engaged a short 8 months later, but it was becoming very obvious to everyone around them. Group texts turned to one-on-one conversations, game nights with friends turned into watching Christmas movies together, and then, just as if it were always meant to be, they realized the love that was growing right in front of them. We cannot wait to celebrate our love and officially join our lives together with all of our friends and family surrounding us. We feel truly blessed that God, in His perfect timing, has brought us together and immensely grateful for the support of those we love!
