About a decade ago, Lauren & Nate first met in NYC. They initially weren't looking for anything serious, but after a month of dating—and coincidentally heading off on separate solo road trips—they found themselves talking on the phone for hours every day. It didn’t take long to realize they meant much more to each other than expected. In a ballsy romantic move, Lauren parked the van she’d been living in at the Denver airport and flew back to NJ to surprise Nate at his cousin’s wedding. The date was September 19th, 2015. 10 years later, they’ve decided it’s finally time for a wedding of their own. ...Also, 20 years ago, they may have met for 5 minutes when Nate saved Lauren from drowning on a student volunteer trip in Costa Rica. But that's another story for after champagne!
