Governor Dodge State Park

A favorite award-winning cheese maker with a wide variety of cheeses. You can visit the factory and buy cheese there in LaValle (about 50 minutes away), or just go to the closest store in Mazomanie (about 20 minutes away. address provided)

Two museums in one. Mining Museum gives a good history of mining in the area and shows parts of the old mine. Rolo Jamison Museum displays artifacts of rural Wisconsin life from the 1800s through the early 1900s. (about 45 minutes away)
