Beach Formal. 🏝 This can also be referred to as resort wear or tropical cocktail attire - think of light weight linen or cotton blends shirts, pants, and dresses. 👕 👗 Please do not wear Hawaiian shirts or any other attire you would wear on a picnic or to a similar informal event. Ladies, the wedding venue is oceanfront and on grass, so narrow pointed heeled shoes may not be the best for this event. 👠 Bottom line - we will love you regardless what you are wearing! But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose. 🤙🏽

What is an unplugged wedding?

📴An unplugged wedding is a ceremony free from cell phones, cameras, and any electronics. 🚫📸🚫📱🚫We spent A LOT of money on our photographer and videographer, so we ask that you be fully present with us during this special time.📴

Is there transportation to and from the ceremony and reception

Answer

Unfortunately, we are not able to provide rides to and from the ceremony to the reception. Please plan accordingly. We suggest that you carpool with people so you’re not taking multiple cars to the ceremony site. 🚗 🚙

How far is the ceremony from the reception?

Answer

The ceremony is held at Sea Life Park (Waimanalo), which is 15 miles away from the reception held at Hale Koa Hotel. Driving time should take anywhere from 30 minutes to 45 minutes. Please plan accordingly.
