When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We know we are short on time, so we ask that you RSVP no later than Thursday, August 11, 2023. We thank you all for your patience as we coordinate everything. If you are planning to reserve a room at the Twelve Hotel, please let us know as soon as possible (by July 30th).

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Plan for Atlanta Traffic! We ask that you plan to arrive between 5:00- 5:30 PM

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is no on-site parking. If you are lodging nearby, we recommend taking an Uber or Lyft. There is a parking lot next door to the venue, but they are known for overcharging. We will have limited parking reserved at a parking garage nearby. More details to come later.

Are kids welcome?

As much as we love the kiddos, this will be an adult only event.

Is there a dress code?

Get fancy with us! Semi-formal to cocktail attire is appropriate. We don't recommend top hats, but if that's what you're feeling then BE GREAT!!

Will there be a (traditional Nigerian) money dance?

Answer

We will participating in the Nigerian wedding custom of the money dance! This is a tradition that allows guests an opportunity to bless the newlyweds by showering them with money to help set up the couple with a strong foundation of prosperity and success for their new life together.

Do I need to participate in the money dance?

Answer

You are not obligated to participating in the tradition. We are happy for you to celebrate with us however you can. (However, we are also excited about the party getting started by "making it rain") If you would like to participate, please be prepared with cash. Smaller bills will also be available to make change (i.e., make more "rain").
