We're calling this "dressy casual." Wear sundresses, cocktails dresses, jumpsuits, suits with or without jackets -- it all works. Importantly, the wedding will be outside on a grassy area and the weather in the Rockies can be pretty unpredictable. Be ready for rain but cross your fingers for sunshine, and bring a jacket for the evening (we're looking at you, Californians). Ladies: consider wearing flats, wedges, or chunky heels so you don't sink into the grass!
There are a few ways to get from Denver International Airport to Boulder: 1. Uber the entire way. This should be about $50 depending on when you land. 2. Catch the AB Bus from Denver Airport directly to Boulder: http://www3.rtd-denver.com/schedules/getSchedule.action?runboardId=2653&routeId=AB&routeType=9&&direction=W-Bound&serviceType=1#direction 3. Take a shuttle. We recommend Green Ride Boulder. 4. Take the RTD A-Line Train from Denver Airport to downtown Denver Union Station ($9). From Union Station, you can catch the Flatiron Flyer 1 or Flatiron Flyer 2 Express buses to Boulder. Get off at Downtown Boulder Station - the last stop. 5. Rent a car at Denver Airport
We are providing shuttles from Boulder to the wedding ceremony in Lyons, and back to Boulder at the end of the evening. Ubers, while prevalent in Boulder, are extremely difficult to find in Lyons. Additionally, a major football game is happening in Boulder on our wedding day, making Uber's even more difficult to find (and likely pricier). We recommend guests take advantage of the shuttles -- plus they're pretty cute! Shuttles will pick up from the Hotel Boulderado at 3:00pm. We are providing 3 shuttles -- it doesn't matter which one you take -- they all go to the same place! The ride from Boulder to Lyons will take between 20 to 30 minutes.
Nope, just a whole lot of sleep and Advil.
