FAQs

Question

Wait, I thought your wedding was on the 27th. What gives?

Answer

We are having the lucky "problem" that we love way too many people - and they will not all fit in our wedding venue. Due to the fact that we have a lot of out-of-town friends coming for the wedding itself, we decided to plan this event for our local friends. If you're interested in checking out the ceremony itself, we will be live-streaming it! More info on that later.

Question

Can I bring a date? How about my kids? Maybe my dog?

Answer

Yes! The more the merrier!

Question

I received an email/text invite from a service called Veri/The Guest. What IS this and why should I download it to my phone?i

Answer

The Guest is a real-time photo sharing app. Please sign up! (It would also help if you use your real name - or at least a reasonable facsimile - so we know who to credit for which photos.) We tested it out at the first bridesmaids' get-together and it works great! The app shares photos between everyone who is at the same event ... and then we won't have to harass you about photos later. It's super easy! It just takes a couple of minutes to set up and then you literally never have to think about it again if you don't want to. Thanks in advance for sharing your happy party memories with us!

Question

What are we going to eat?

Answer

There are lots of yummy restaurants close by. Bring your own lunch/dinner with you!

Question

What can we get you for your wedding?

Answer

In lieu of gifts, we are asking people to consider contributing to our kitchen fund. (More details on our registry page.) However, if you find some little thing that you think we really need, we won't say no!
