Garden of the Gods
Garden of the Gods is a scenic rock formation that is over 450 million years old. It is a must-visit in Colorado Springs. Expect to walk about 2 miles on mostly paved ground around the park. There are plenty of trails around the main area if you desire to hike more. Parking and walking through the park is free. Other activities like horseback riding and jeep tours are available for a fee.
Pikes Peak
Visit the summit of Pikes Peak! You can drive yourself up the mountain on the famous Pikes Peak highway (not for the faint of heart) or ride the historic Cog Railway! When you get to the top, enjoy the views and a donut from the cafe.
