This event is dressy casual. Only hard surfaces here so if you want to wear heels this weekend, this is your chance!
An opportunity for out of town guests to mingle and relax on Friday evening. A few light bites and wine will be provided from 5-6pm. For craft spirits enthusiasts, stroll over to our friend George's beautiful, brand-new distillery for a tasting. Please join us for dinner at the Greek Cafe (forgive us for not picking up the dinner bill, we spent all our money on Saturday's wonderful band!)

Farm Tours, Lawn Games and Music

Attire is farm dressy; whatever that means to you! Please bring weather appropriate gear (sun hat or rain jacket) and shoes for walking in grass or dirt.
Live music by Knoxville's finest old time and bluegrass band The Bearded starts at 4pm, with games, snacks and drinks on the farmhouse lawn. Please also take the opportunity to explore the amazing productive gardens that Tea Jay has created over the past 16 years! Farm Tours depart on foot at 4:30 and 5:30, or view it all from the back of the farm truck in a 5pm cruise down the grass lane. Relax and mingle at the house before, after, or instead, if a farm tour is not your thing!
Dinner
6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
If you know us you know it is all about the food! This humble meal is a collective effort of talented friends and family, with ingredients lovingly grown and raised on our land or sourced locally. Served family style at the table. In order to make table conversation easier to hear, the band will take a break and join us in the feast.

If you are staying at the farm or nearby, feel free to linger by the bonfire for s'mores and songs (always optional!). Catching up with friends and family is precious and we never want it to end! We are so honored to share this day with you.

River Time

We are fortunate to live near some of the most beautiful rivers and forests on the planet! The Bush kids grew up paddling the Hiwassee and many of our river mentors are here this weekend. Clay Bush is a certified whitewater guide and will be coordinating a trip down this gentle Class II river. There are canoe, kayak, raft and tube rentals in at the Webb Brothers Store in Reliance Tn. This river is dam controlled so it's important to understand the route and the dam release times. You can have a lazy float or a challenging adventure depending on when and where you launch or "put in" to the river. Contact Clay Bush to join the group trip and for tips on the best tubing or beach spots and times.
