The closest airport is Charlottesville, Va. It is very small! Richmond and Roanoke are an hour away, it is bigger and will have more options. Washington DC is 3 hrs away BUT the cheapest flights and most options for rental cars.

Places to Stay

We recommend hotels in Harrisonburg or Waynesboro Va. Harrisonburg is 15 mins from venue and Waynesboro is 35 mins. We live closest to Waynesboro; it will be less hectic. Airbnb is a great option: I would look in Elkton, Shenandoah, Harrisonburg, and Waynesboro Va. This will be max 40 mins from the venue. Massanutten resort is 5 mins from venue and has a lot of options. Our venue has 2 guess houses on property and one just off property. I have them reserved till 6 months before the wedding. They are big houses.
