The location is in the gorge, and although there could be a chance, it is unlikely there will be ubers or several of them. So plan accordingly!
According to our research, the weather during the day is typically sunny and in the mid to lower 80s. When the sun goes down it can dip to the lower 60s at night time. Although this would be ideal, the PNW is ever so changing and rain could happen. Make sure to check the weather before choosing your outfits!
It is a semi formal attire, so get dressy or get casually dressy. We love you as you are. Watch out for thin heels as there will be grass and possible mud but not likely. The venue is outdoors, so be prepared for temperature changes. The only color we ask you not to wear is white :)
As guests, you should be driving up into the gorge and head near Bridal Veil Falls where you will be going uphill to Bridal Veil Lakes. There will be signs and balloons directing you to the parking lot. When you park, walk up the stairs and be guided into a path to walk to the ceremony. If you are unable to walk up the stairs, you can have your driver drop you off up at the top and they can go park. The schedule will start with a ceremony, then roll into a cocktail hour, dinner, dancing, dessert, and finally a goodbye farewell. Bring your best signature dance moves.
We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
We encourage that you do not take photos during the ceremony, as we have hired a professional to capture those moments, and we wouldn't want the guests to miss any of the moments. After the ceremony, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #RaiseTheRuff so we can keep track of all of your pictures.
