We love your kids--we really do. However, with COVID and the past quarantine, we would like to give you a night to enjoy and relax without your kids. We hope arrangements can be made so you can enjoy our special day as much as we will.
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer it if it was just you as our venue is unable to accommodate additional guests due to COVID regulations.
Please arrive 30 minutes early to allow enough time to park, sign the welcome book and find a seat.
CEREMONY Pictures before and after the ceremony are always welcomed. However, please refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony. RECEPTION Absolutely, 100%. The more pictures the better. We don't want to miss a second of everyone having a good time. Use #FinallyaSchoonard on social media
After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for about an hour. Guests can head into the barn where we will be serving appetizers and beverages shortly after the ceremony.
CEREMONY: The ceremony is outside. We recommend that you bring a light jacket since our wedding is at the beginning of May and it can still be a little cold outside. RECEPTION: The reception has seating inside and outside. Inside we will be serving dinner and drinks along with dancing the night away. Outside there is lovely seating, tables, and a fireplace to join around to talk with friends.
The entrance will be off of M-40 to the right. It is labeled with a Gable Hill sign. Follow the signs to the parking lot. Parking will be on the left of the barn. You can park on the grass and the gravel. Please do not park in the chained off area or in front of the barn.
Festival Attire: Have fun with your look. Bright, bold, and playful clothes and accessories are STRONGLY encouraged.
