Hot Springs' 4th of July Celebration
For those of you who arrive early to our special day, please click on the link attached to view the local events happening for the 4th of July. In summary, you will find further details regarding: July 3rd, FRIDAY--Street Dance at Centennial Park with LIVE MUSIC! Begins at 7pm and goes to around 11pm. The wedding party and families would love to greet you at this event after the rehearsal has finished. July 4th, SATURDAY -- 5k/10k & Mile Race at Chautauqua Park BREAKFAST at the American Legion, starting at 8:00am through 10:00am. Parade starts at 10:00am. Community Picnic at 11:30am. Classic Car Show & Shine will begin at 11:00am through 3:00pm at the Centennial Park. Duck Race at 1pm Free Community Picnic & BBQ held at the American Legion. Lots of fun activities including Kids Games, Bouncy Houses, Horseshoes, & Music beginning at 2:00pm after the parade. Fireworks Display Starting at Dusk (9:00pm approx.) *Schedule may be subject to change with weather.
Moccasin Springs Natural Mineral Springs/Spa
We went here together after receiving two passes as a Christmas gift. This location is 18+ only, but a beautiful and calm experience that we would recommend for all couples.
Evans Plunge Mineral Springs
We have been going here together multiple times a month since 2017. We would recommend this pool for families that have a couple of hours to spare.
Hot Springs Theatre
Karina worked at this theater all throughout high school, as well as occasional weekends throughout college. At this theater there have been dates, Teagan visiting Karina while she had to stay late for work, double dates, family showings, school field trips, dance proposals, and more!
Winners Circle
From school field trips, to post-prom, to Karina's 13th birthday party, to double dates in the pool and dart room, the bowling alley has been a classic date night experience for us for the past several years.
Battle Mountain Road Hike
We have been here several times together, whether that be four-wheeling, driving, or hiking. If you climb to the top of the hill and browse around the tallest trees, you may find one tree with our initials carved into it from when we were in early high school.
Cold Brook Dam
Cold Brook is our favorite local lake inside of Hot Springs. We have loved to come here with our families to hike, ice skate, explore, swim, and play at the beach with Karina's little brothers. This is a free, but busier location during the hot summer days.
