Chris and Teagan met in June of 2018 while deployed to the Middle East. Chris was 20 years old and he worked on the flight line and Teagan was 19 years old and was a combat photographer and videographer. Teagan went into work one morning when her boss told her she had to film a video of a "tall, tan, handsome man" and Teagan declined. Her boss tried to encourage her by telling her that he could be her "future husband". Against her wishes, Teagan arrived at the flight line later that day and filmed a video of a very shy and awkward Chris (who did not like to be in front of the camera). They did not speak for the rest of deployment. In February 2019, Chris and Teagan reunited and went on their first date to Chick-fil-a where Chris unknowingly ate all of Teagan's chicken nuggets. Teagan forgave him and from that day forward, they spent every minute together, laughing, learning and falling deeply in love. In December 2020, Chris proposed before going overseas for a year and half. They didn't let the long distance slow them down. In 2021, they bought their first house and adopted their first child (dog), Ollie. They have finally gotten the chance to plan their dream wedding and they cannot wait to celebrate their love with all of their favorite people.
