This is a formal wedding, but with a fun New Orleans jazzy twist. We suggest floor-length gowns or cocktail dresses and suits or tuxedos. Check out our pinterest board below for more inspiration :) https://pin.it/38MJEzXX1
Yes! A second line is a traditional New Orleans parade where guests dance and celebrate behind a brass band. We'll be parading from our ceremony to the reception, so get ready for a festive 15-minute walk through the streets with music, dancing, and joy :,)
We want you to feel fabulous and comfortable! New Orleans streets are charming but can be uneven, especially for our second line parade from the ceremony to the reception. We recommend bringing comfortable walking shoes or a backup pair to make sure you can continue to boogie all night long!
We love your little ones, but this will be an adults-only celebration!
Formal invitations will be sent out later this year. If you already know you can join us or sadly know you can't make it, please contact us to let us know!
If a plus-one is included in your invitation, their name will appear on your RSVP. Due to venue capacity, we're only able to accommodate guests formally invited.
In true New Orleans tradition, our reception will follow a cocktail-style format rather than a formal seated dinner to keep the energy high and the dance floor full. Guests can enjoy a continuous flow of heavy passed hors d'oeuvres and local favorites from various action stations throughout the evening. Come hungry and ready to celebrate!
Yes! We are working with the catering team to make sure that there is food for everyone. If you have any specific concerns, feel free to let us know!
We're kicking off the celebration at Sidecar Patio & Oyster Bar. While it's a casual place, we're asking folks to come dressed in cocktail attire. Think chic, fun and funky!
November is one of the best times to visit New Orleans! Expect mild temperatures in the 60s-70s°F during the day and cooler evenings in the 50s-60s°F. The humidity is lower than summer months, and rain is less frequent, making it perfect weather for celebrating outdoors and exploring the city.
The ceremony and reception will be indoors, with an outdoor cocktail hour in between. NOLA in November is beautiful, but if you are prone to getting cold, we recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap!
Rideshare apps like Uber and Lyft are readily available and convenient throughout the city. The historic St. Charles streetcar is a charming way to travel between Uptown and downtown, and many areas like the French Quarter and Garden District are very walkable. We recommend avoiding driving yourself, as parking can be challenging and you'll want to enjoy the festivities!
Sure will be.
We'd love for you to be fully present during our ceremony. Our photographer will capture everything, and we'll share photos after the wedding! Feel free to take photos during the reception.
