Wine Tasting
When in wine country.... There are some great vineyards within walking distance of the Ranch. For a more formal tasting experience, check out Arista or Flowers, and for a laid-back "in my best friends back yard" vibe, we love De La Montanya and Armida. There are plenty of tasting rooms within the town of Healdsburg as well, and the "wine wall" at The Matheson is a fun way to try wines from various wineries all over the region.
Food
A few nearby restaurant and food recommendations: Troubadour and Dry Creek General Store for great sandwiches to go. Molti Amici for Neapolitan pizzas, homemade pasta, and Aperol spritz in a lovely courtyard setting. Roof 106 at The Matheson for an open air rooftop restaurant and cocktail lounge.
Napa County
If you are in the area for a little longer and have time to explore outside of Sonoma, head east to Napa County for more great wine and food options. We love the towns of Yountville (go to Bouchon Bistro for the steak frites!) and St. Helena (check out Charter Oak or Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch).
