We are getting married!

I got Tyler's Social Media from my best friend Lindsey Anderson. I texted Tyler and we talked everyday for almost a year! We became good friends. Lindsey's family sent invitations for their annual soup party and Tyler and I went and met each other in person for the first time! He didn't talk to me really all night 😂 We set up a date at Kairos Coffee House a week later and really hit it off. Then had another date. Now we're engaged 2 years later 🥰

He wanted to do it in the mountains, but God figured the backyard of the Hedrick's would be the best! Us and our friends went up to a campground in the mountains and had lunch and hung out in our hammocks and talked. The entire time I was clueless, so I was shooting down all the suggestions to go take a hike or to go down by the pond. I wanted to just stay at the campground and enjoy the scenery. Everyone was pushing me so we could go take a hike and Tyler could ask me! But then it started to rain and Tyler thought about doing it there in the rain but then it started hailing and down pouring! We were all scrambling around putting everything into Amy and Cayley's cars and then we all piled into Amy's car. Ty was so nervous. He had the ring in his pocket the whole time and everyone was looking at him seeing if he was just going to do it then. We decided to go ahead and head home and play games and get dinner. We got back to the house and had some chow and played some games and then we were sitting and talking and they started bugging me that we should go take some pictures together as a group for memories. I kept saying no and that we could do it tomorrow because i was having a birthday party. But we eventually did it. We were taking pictures in the backyard and it got to Ty and I's turn and everyone started pulling out their phones and i remember thinking that was weird but I still had no idea. Then he got down on one knee! ❤️
