We strongly recommend direct flights from Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, or New York airports to Athens to avoid rushed layovers and then booking a flight from Athens to Kefalonia. However, you may also look at flights direct to Kefalonia which includes a layover in London, but please do your research and ensure you have plenty of time to go through customs during your layover. There are also ferries from other Greek cities like Patra, Kilini, and Corfu if you are exploring the islands before this event.
