To help us with our planning, we ask that you RSVP by June 28th, 2025. Even if you will not be attending. If we don’t receive your RSVP by the date specified, we unfortunately have to mark you as a ‘no’ for attending. We have to give our venue and vendors final numbers for attendees in a timely manner, we hope you understand!
The ceremony will promptly begin at 4:15pm. We ask that you arrive and be in your seat no later than 15 minutes before the start of the ceremony. You may arrive earlier than the 15 minutes and it will give you time to park, find your seat and mingle before the ceremony.
If you are running late to the ceremony and not seated by the 4:10pm start time, you will not be permitted to enter and unfortunately will miss the ceremony! Please wait downstairs in the bar area for cocktail hour after the ceremony.
The ceremony and reception will be held indoors! We have been assured that the A/C is amazing and should be cool enough for everyone. Please still be mindful of excessive door opening to not let the cool air out and the hot August heat in.
While there is no formal dress code, usual wedding attire still applies. We would love to see our friends and family dressed up! Ladies: please avoid wearing white or any neutral shades such as golds, creams or beiges as these are reserved for the bridal party. Other colors are a heck yes! Gentleman: please refrain from jeans and shorts! We know August can be quite toasty, but our venue is thankfully air conditioned! Dress pants and dress shirts, cute sundresses and such are encouraged <3
We have tried our best to accommodate guests, but unfortunately space is limited. If a plus one has been allotted to you, your invitation RSVP on our website will reflect that. We look forward to spending the evening celebrating with our closest friends and family!
As much as we love everyone’s children, invitations will be specific and will include the names of the children invited! Please note: if your child/children are invited, they are solely your responsibility and to please be mindful of loud distractions. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times during the ceremony and reception.
The ceremony will be an unplugged, meaning that all phones, cameras or IPads (Ha!) should be put away during the ceremony! We have an amazing photographer that will be taking photos at this time. During the reception, photos/videos are encouraged with two rules: 1) Please be mindful of the photographer and don’t block any shots (I know you’ve seen those wild videos where grandma has her IPad held standing in front of everyone). Also be mindful of other guests! 2) Any videos or pictures you have taken of the night, please send them to us! We would love to see our day from your eyes.
Yes! There is parking outside of The Brightside and additional overflow parking. There are 67 parking spaces in the immediate parking lot, 60 additional spaces in an adjoining lot, and two overflow lots! Your presence on our special day is the best gift you could give us! If you still wish to gift us something, most of you know we have been saving and saving to purchase our first home. We would appreciate any amount in cash or check that you would be willing to gift us! If that’s not your thing, all other registries (Target/Amazon) will be listed under the “Registry” tab of our website.
