It all started at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on 71st Street in Chicago, IL at a volunteer construction project. They were both there to lend a helping hand, but ended up building something they never expected - their relationship. From the beginning, he stood out to Tay with his quick wit and sense of humor. She made him laugh and he thought she was pretty. Plus, she scored bonus points when she showed him how to make buffalo sauce. They caught each other's eyes not too long after meeting, and something just clicked. Before they even started dating, Tayonna had to leave for a month long trip to Chile to serve where the need is greater. Caleb gave her his expensive headphones to take with her. That gesture said everything - it was his way of putting a stamp on Tayonna... and little did he know, it succeeded. As time went on, their feelings grew deeper. Tayonna said she knew she was in love when they could be in a room surrounded by other people and all she could see was Caleb. Fast forward to the proposal, Caleb gave Tayonna everything she wanted and imagined. He knew how much she was obsessed with Disney and the movie Tangled. They were at a lighthouse on the lake, surrounded by some of their favorite people. He popped the question, then they drifted out on a canoe during sunset. It felt like a scene straight out of Tayonna's favorite fairytale movie. Everyday they are thankful that they could be on that construction site at the same time. Now they can start their marriage at the place where their love first started to grow!
