Meet Our Family and Friends that are walking down the aisle with us.

Adedoyin Bamidele-Nelly

Maid of Honor

I met Kemi through her brother in 2012. A friend and I needed a place to crash in Indianapolis as we could not go back to greencastle that night. She was very nice, made sure we were comfortable while we stayed with her. We found out we were attending the same conference in a few weeks. Lobatan! That is how our razz-tush friendship began. I wish and pray the Adeniyi's have a fulfulling & sweet marriage.

Kunle Akinmboni

Best Man

I met Tayo at a church members' together and I remember we were the only one’s dancing at the event – I quickly realized we shared a very important passion! – dance. Tayo is calculated in decision making, slow to anger and very reserved. While I met Kemi when we served at the Indy's YASM dinner committee in 2013. Kemi is intelligent, creative, and later knew her street name was “Kemi 4.0” she know book die!. Kemi and Tayo share a similar passion of service to God. We got really close on our trip to the YASM national convention in LA in 2014 where I got to see the real Kemi and Tayo - the rest they say, is history. Congratulations kemi and Tayo! As you guys tie the forever knot, I know God will never be far away from you! Let’s wrap up this wedding real quick #theTAKEover2k19

Emmanuela (Emma) Bonglack

Bridesmaid

I met Kemi for the first time at a worship bonfire for church, & then she started singing,OMG! I literally snapped my head to the left, thinking, This girl can SANG! I went up to her afterward & introduced myself, we were both new to Durham, pursuing our doctorate degrees at Duke & both loved to dance. We immediately clicked! our friendship has grown so much, & I couldn’t imagine my time in Durham without Kemi’s unwavering, Christ-reflecting, & loving friend/sister-ship. Kemi is truly a woman after God’s own heart, & after meeting Tayo, I can say the same for him as well! My prayer for you two is that God will fuel, fortify, & cover your marriage now & forever, so that through you, people will come to know Christ, & know what true, Christ-like love looks like. TaKeOver2K19, we readyy 💃

Uchenna Nwachukwu

Groomsman

I knew Tayo and Kemi when I came to Indy in 2015. They were both the president and vp of the Youth church respectively. Both of them are great leaders Tayo knows how to take the lead and Kemi is great at getting things done. They have been each other’s best friend ever since I knew them. They are also goal oriented humans and they like book gan. Especially Kemi. Lol. She’s really brilliant. I wish them the best in life and the love that never runs dry. I pray that their union will stay sweet for life. Great kids, great achievements all the good that this life can offer and beyond. HML as you TAKEover 🙏🏽

Dami Omotunde

Bridesmaid

Kemi and I were introduced by a mutual friend (Fola) 2 years ago.. I’m so grateful I met Kemi because since that day, she has been my friend, sister, confidant, gist partner and prayer warrior. I am so happy for her and Tayo (our Adè) because they truly deserve each other. I am yet to meet a couple more destined to be together than these two. They are united in everything from their love and service to Christ, their support for family and friends, to their love for one another! We are officially counting down to the #TAKEover2k19 and y’all are not even ready! But will it stop us from shutting everywhere down? No! Indiana stand up, my favorites are getting married so we cannot keep calm.

Groomsman

The groom is a friend (pretty much an older brother) that I have known since I got to America. Met him through the bride who is a family friend (also pretty much an older sister). I had always known they would end up together since the first time I met them five years ago and here we are! I wish them the most blissful and happy marriage. Can’t wait for the kids of course so also wishing tons of those too. I know you both complete each other so I pray and hope that will remain the same for the rest of your lives! Happy married life.

Tosin Kayode

Bridesmaid

I met Kemi in 2017 at a food truck rodeo, and it was amazing how she connected with everyone that day. She has a very good aura that just makes you want to be around her, definitely isn’t afraid of speaking her mind. She’s very passionate about everything from fashion, music, school, Tayo :-) and even KETO! Lol. I wish Kemi and Tayo the very best. I pray that all their days together will be filled with joy and gladness.

I’m glad we met back in 2012 and it’s been a journey with you guys. Knowing both of you has been a blessing. Tayo and Kemi, you both are special, you are an inspiration and role model to youth &young adults in the church. I learned a lot from being in the same drama group, choir, and youth executive with you. Thanks for all those times that I needed help and you came to my rescue. Kemi's selfless attitude is second to none. I remember in 2013 when you bought my birthday cake when we went for your birthday dinner in downtown. I can’t forget that day because it was the 1st time someone would buy me a cake. You're such an organized person. You're smart, lively and there’s never a dull moment whenever you are around. I pray nothing shall come between you guys, your friendship shall be forever

Fola Awopetu

I wish you both a JOY FILLED life together!! May you both live a life that pleases God and may you continue to be a blessing!! Can’t wait to dance and celebrate with you both!!!

Dare Jolayemi

Groomsman

I met Tayo in November of 2017, at Household of faith, Arlington, TX. I quickly introduced myself to him and he quickly accepted me as a friend and we grew closer to become more like brothers. I met Kemi on thanksgiving day in 2017, they paid a visit and it was long enough. I knew how fortunate my friend is having such an energetic and full-of-life lady by his side. Ever since, my self and Tayo grew closer and also discovering we have similar roots from Nigeria. Kemi and Tayo, thank you for allowing me be a part of this journey into greater things, I pray the love of Christ be the pillar you build your home. Congrats to you both as you “TAKE- over”....love you

AdeTola Famakinwa

Bridesmaid

Kemi and I went to the same elementary school. We later met in Indianapolis. Kemi was one of the friends I made in the states and we’ve been friends ever since. Kemi took me around the city, gave me tips on how to excel academically, and she made sure the culture shock wasn’t an issue. I pray the Lord blesses Kemi and Tayo’s union, May this journey be a fruitful one with God’s unlimited blessings!!! I wish you both a blessed Union.

Loba Ogunmola

Groomsman

Tayo & I have been very good friends for a long time now. He puts the needs of others before his, & his character is impeccable. We've worked side by side as the RCCG Young Adults & Singles Ministry presidents of our respective churches. We've developed a stronger bond over time as we planned the first ever Indy RCCG YASM event. Tayo is a visionary, & his ability to stay focused on his objective despite distractions makes him a unique leader. He's a person I can confidently share my burdens and joys with. I've known Kemi for a while, & one thing I know, she is focused. They're both great dancers & I look forward to sharing this beautiful day with them & experiencing a lifetime of friendship with them. I pray that your commitment to each other will be much deeper than any of your emotions.

Wumi Fasakin

Bridesmaid

I met both the groom and bride in church at RCCG solutions center Indianapolis IN and they’ve both been awesome. Wishing them all the very best in life as they become one

Chindanu Ozuah

Groomsman

My relationship with both groom & bride evolved from their gregarious nature at our first encounter in RCCG Solution center. As a newbie in the U.S, with little or no idea of what to do, their willingness to enlighten my ignorance was downright neighborly. I couldn’t help but assure myself that they were worth keeping as a friend. Tayo was my president in the YASM department at church. He demonstrated pure charisma with polished countenance that stood him out. Kemi, aka La’boo like I always call her was a good definition of amiable. She looked out for me & encouraged me. Pure in heart, her actions are clouded with thoughts of good. Proud of the lady you have turned into. Well wishes for their upcoming union. I wish them all the great things of life. They deserve it, even Gods knows it
