countdown to forever begins

Our story begins in November 2023, where we were both working out at the same gym in Erie. Jarod had made a corny joke to Tayne when she walked into the gym one day. Tayne walked away thinking "was that a pick up line or is he just a bit weird". Well it turns out that it was indeed a pickup line, as Jarod had asked Tayne out on a date the very next day as she was finishing up her workout. Jarod made plans for us for a beautiful dinner at Cloud 9 followed by some fun at Round 1 bowling. We shared many laughs on that date, but Tayne wasn't really sure she was ready to open up her heart again for anything serious. But sure enough.. Jarod just so happened to be the most persistent guy Tayne had ever met. We went on countless dates, from rock climbing, pottery spinning, and escape rooms, to coffee dates, candle making, shopping, and endless romantic dinners. We grew closer and closer and Jarod knew he wanted to make things official and asked Tayne to put on "the title" of girlfriend and boyfriend. We met each others family and friends, spent holidays with each other, and took several trips across the US together.

Not too long after dating, Jarod knew that Tayne was the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. He talked with her mom and Dave about proposing to Tayne... and they were ecstatic! We took a vacation to Hawaii in 2025, and that is when Jarod got down on one knee to ask Tayne the big question. With the most beautiful set up and most amazing man in front of her, Tayne said YES! We celebrated our engagement on the beautiful island of Maui and embarked on this new chapter of life together. Our families and friends came to support us at our surprise engagement party in January 2026. Now here we are, planning our big day as excited as ever to celebrate our love and commitment to one another !
