Maid of Honor
Vanessa and I really connected when we started playing volleyball together in high school. Our friend group was super tight-knit. She holds the record for hardest-longest-gasping-for-breath shared laughter. We’ve seen each other go through some amazing and terrible things-and I’m glad we didn’t have to do that without each other.
Bridesmaid
Pronounced KEE-vuh (I know, it’s Gaelic, just trust me). I met Caoimhe in high school-we quickly became friends and, after graduating, both ended up in the Pacific Northwest. Any chance I got would be spent visiting her in Seattle, and later, Olympia. Caoimhe was and is a source of strength, compassion, and hilarity for me. Plus she’s gorgeous. OMG and she has all the dance moves. All. Of. Them.
Bridesmaid
One of two future sisters-in-law Jelly (a nickname permitted for a select few-we know who we are) and I have become close over the years. We’ve seen each other through the most difficult of times as well as some of the silliest. One time in particular that I will never forget was when we queued up “Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays” by *NSYNC and danced together in the living room. Absolute unadulterated ridiculousness!
Bridesmaid
My other future sister-in-law Alexa and I eventually found out that we’re into basically all the same things. We’ve bonded so much over the years and enjoy sharing our latest domestic adventures as well as nature adventures. I don’t know if I would’ve made it up the 8 mile trail with an elevation gain of 3000 ft without her. Or down for that matter. Good thing they didn’t leave me up there, we wouldn’t all be here now!
