We met in the summer of 2018 during a production of Newsies at Capital City Productions in Jefferson City, where we sang and danced on stage together as newsboys. The relationship started out as a friendship/ car pool situation but everyone else in the cast knew that we were meant to be together. That winter, we once again were in a show together, where I realized how absolutely adorable and amazing Murphy was and we have been inseparable since.

More than your average showmance

How We Met

On a friend's trip to Las Vegas, Murphy asked me to marry him with original song lyrics in the middle of a gazebo in the Venetian Casino and Hotel after a whole day of having to switch plans due to holiday traffic and other obstacles. This man went through it all! 

We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
