New Jersey: The state the starts our journey. We met at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, thanks to mutual friends. Shocked that we had the same name, we found out we were also from the same state! Things we love here: Best drivers on Earth, PORK ROLL egg and cheese on a everything bagel with salt pepper and ketchup, proximity to the beach and two major cities. Things we hate here: Not being able to pump your own gas (adds like 5 minutes to the whole process), south Jersey, Eagles fans. Maryland: Our birthplace. Aaron grew up in Gaithersburg while Erin grew up in Bel Air. Greater Washington and Greater Baltimore areas respectively. Although we grew in different cultural parts of Maryland, we both share that obnoxious state pride. Things we love here: The best flag on Earth, best crabs. Things we hate here: Nothing, its perfect. Texas: We are grateful to have had career starting opportunities in the state of Texas. Aaron pursued an opportunity to start flight training in Dallas and Erin started her first big girl job for the City of Carrollton. Things we love here: BBQ, 24/7 pool weather, Torchy's. Things we hate here: The HEAT, Dallas traffic, and probably the worse drivers in the country. Virginia: "Virginia is for lovers" is what reads on our license plates in this state, referencing Loving v Virginia. This Supreme Court case protects our 14th amendment right and allows for this special day to happen. We currently reside in Fairfax; and Aaron works as a First Officer for PSA airlines out of National Airport and Erin works as an Environmental Specialist for United Airlines out of Dulles Airport. We're both happy to be back in the DMV with our friends and family. Things we love here: Nearby family. Things we hate here: The police thinking they're the avengers, Beltway traffic.
