Are kids welcome?

We love your kids but we kindly request this to be an adult-only celebration with the exception of the immediate wedding party (Flower girls & Ring Bearers)

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony takes place at The First United Methodist in Derry, PA at 2pm. Please arrive at 1:30pm, doors close 1:55pm.

Where should I park?

Answer

For the ceremony, there is a small parking lot at the church. If this lot fills up, street parking is available. For the reception, there is a large parking lot in front of the building.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress code is Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We're delighted to invite our closest family and friends. If a plus-one is listed on your invitation, they are invited (adults only)! If there is not a plus-one listed, we're sorry but we cannot accommodate any additional guests at this time. If you feel we left out someone important, please let us know, but understand that our limitations may mean our hands are tied.

What time should I arrive to the reception?

Our reception is located at The Core Event Center in Irwin, PA. Doors open at 5pm. There is a shuttle to transport you from the hotel to the reception if staying at the Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn. Please see the "schedule" tab for shuttle information.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

The average temperature in Derry/Irwin, PA in October for a typical day ranges from a high of 65°F (19°C) to a low of 45°F (7°C). Some would describe the temperature to be moderately chilly.

Will it be indoors or outdoors

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception will be indoors.

What happens after the ceremony

Answer

After the ceremony, the wedding party and family will be taking pictures in front of the church. If you are staying at one of the hotels located near the reception, you may head there to check in.
