We're Getting Married!

We met on Bumble (of all places!) in 2018. For those who don’t know, it’s a dating app. At the time, Christopher was working third shift as a mail handler, and I was a preschool teacher. His schedule was absolutely wild, so we couldn’t meet right away. Instead, we messaged back and forth for over a month before finally carving out time for our first date. We met at Springdale Cinema to watch Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse—and there was something instantly special about our connection. We went on several more dates after that, bonding over Dragon Ball Z memes and late-night Waffle House runs. We shared recipes, and Christopher even made me lemon bars—one of which a preschool student promptly stole off my desk at school.

In January 2021, we took a trip to Gatlinburg. During a hike along a windy trail with a river rushing beside us, I was completely surprised when Christopher got down on one knee and proposed. Of course I cried! It's me. Since then, we’ve bought a home, adopted a dog, and both taken on new careers. Christopher is now a Team Lead for Route Count Inspections, and I’m a private nanny to two wonderful kids. We’re so excited to invite you to celebrate with us on May 30, 2026, at Jungle Jim’s: The Oscar Station. We can’t wait to see you there!
