We met working at a Journey's shoe store. We were constantly making each other laugh and goofing off. He was my boss and the first time I texted him (to call out of work, oops!) he said he was going to write me up! I've still yet to see any write-up papers and now I'm the boss! We are so lucky that our paths crossed and we get to make each other laugh for the rest of our lives.
He took me to my favorite place; the duck ponds. We brought bread because I thought we were there to feed the ducks! He started chucking entire pieces of bread out to the ducks and I kept telling him to throw little pieces and save the bread. He said "OK" and threw two more entire pieces into the water. Turns out he wanted me to be empty handed for what I was about to walk into! We rounded the corner and I saw my whole family hiding in the trees! Then my niece, Mollie, came running towards me. When I turned around he was on one knee! Of course I said "YES!" and his mom, my parents, my sister, my Aunt Janice (on facetime), brother-in-law, and nephew came out of their hiding spots in the trees to give us hugs! It was a very LUCKY St. Paddy's day!
