Taylor was born and raised here in Hawaii and is a proud graduate of Punahou School. After high school, she moved to Seattle to attend Seattle University, and later took her sense of adventure overseas to Japan, where she lived in Shizuoka as an English teacher through the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program. Since moving home, Taylor has built an unexpected and rewarding career in local politics as Chief of Staff to Councilmember Scott Nishimoto, while also pursuing her creative side as a part-time content creator, highlighting local businesses and experiences as “Townie Tay.” Shannon was also born and raised here on the islands and proudly attended Moanalua High School — which he claims is the “Punahou of public schools” — before continuing on to the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Throughout college and after graduation, he worked as a server at Ruth's Chris Steak House, which may forever hold the title of his favorite job. In recent years, Shannon made the leap into real estate full time with eXp Realty, and in 2025 proudly surpassed $16 million in sales volume — a milestone that reflects his dedication, hustle, and heart for helping families find their homes. Shannon and Taylor met at the end of 2023 thanks to the help of a mutual friend (thank you, Anna). After their first date, they have been inseparable ever since. From traveling the world to creating countless everyday memories, they’ve built a life filled with laughter and adventure. In November 2025, Shannon completely surprised Taylor with a stunning proposal in Queenstown, New Zealand. As they prepare for their wedding, they are also stepping into another exciting milestone: purchasing their very first home together. Building a home — not just a house — has always been one of their biggest shared goals, and it feels especially meaningful as they begin their marriage. More than anything, Shannon and Taylor cherish their loved ones and are so grateful to celebrate this new chapter surrounded by the people who have supported them every step of the way.
