Airlie Gardens
Airlie Gardens is a historic public garden located in Wilmington, North Carolina, encompassing 67 acres of formal gardens, lakes, and diverse ecosystems. Established in 1886 by Sarah Green Jones as a private garden for the Pembroke Jones family, the name "Airlie" was inspired by the Jones family's ancestral home in Scotland.
