They were inseparable in high school, then became roommates for five years where their friendship truly blossomed. Kelly is the sweetest, most loyal friend (and one hot mama)!

Chapman and Mike have known each other since they met (and probably peaked) as freshman at FSU. They pledged Sigma Chi together, endured several years of FSU football, a hangover or two, and despite having not lived in the same place for almost 10 years have still kept up several debates such as who is the better golfer, is inshore or offshore fishing more difficult, etc. but more importantly, Chapman is still one of Mike’s first calls with good news or bad, a trusted sounding board, and a best friend. Chapman is the COO of a major cardiology practice in Mobile, AL. where he lives with his beautiful fiancé, Ansley.

Although Taylor and Emmy didn’t meet until 2015, they quickly became best friends! Taylor can’t imagine her life without her. Emmy is probably the smartest person you’ll ever meet. She works as a cosmetic chemist and just launched her own skincare brand (www.doingexperiments.com). Taylor loves to brag on her and tell people how cool she is (hence the shameless plug in the previous sentence).

Mike and Alex both grew up in the Tampa Bay area, went to FSU, worked in the bar scene at the same time, but never met each other until they moved to Charlotte. Some well-timed lease expirations led to them living together for several years (too long, according to Mike’s dad). Despite claiming to be a Fantasy Football wiz and consistently losing to Mike, he remains one of Mike’s closest & most trusted friends. “Smitty” as he’s more properly known also works in commercial real estate and lives in Charlotte with his lovely wife, Palma.

The bride's childhood best friend! When they were younger, they would joke about marrying each others brothers. Luckily, that didn't happen or we wouldn't be here getting ready to celebrate our bride and groom! Despite not making it official, they still consider each other sisters! Taylor would bet her life's savings that Lydia could change a car tire faster than any of the groomsmen.

Drew and Mike became fast friends playing a ton of golf, commiserating over their very mediocre ACC Football teams (Drew is a VT alum), the “joys” of working off commission, and recognizing the other’s ability to talk smack. He also shares the same “false sense of reality” when it comes to his golf game as Mike, which is probably why they get along. Drew is becoming one of the top mortgage lenders in Charlotte (www.financewithferguson.com, you're welcome, Drew) and is recently married to his beautiful wife Katherine.

Audrey is one of Taylor's high school best friends! She was voted (by Taylor) as most likely to miss her own birthday celebration because she's working. Audrey is the most loyal friend and will drop everything if one of her friends needs something.

Brayden is the definition of the guy who’s never met a stranger. No, I’m serious…tell him where you’re from and he’s sure to find some connection like the fact that his cousin’s brother’s ex-girlfriend’s auto guy went to high school with the guy who did your flooring. Lots of people may say they’d have your back wherever and whenever…Brayden is the guy who looks forward to that call. It’s impossible to have a bad attitude around him. He’s a hell of a golfer and an even better guy. Brayden is an insurance broker and lives in Mt. Holly with his lovely (and very patient) girlfriend, Tracy.

Major Bottoms Jr.

About 7 years ago, Mike walked into the local FSU bar, and spotted what he assumed were two dudes in their 40’s with FSU gear on. It only took him a couple of years, but he eventually realized that Major was a few years younger than him. Everyone needs someone to keep them humble and grounded, Major has never had an issue reminding Mike how out of shape, poorly dressed, or non-woke he is, but is also one of the first guys Mike turns to for a beer and sounding board. Major works for a FinTech company here in Charlotte where he lives with his girlfriend, Marisa.

The bride's favorite Irish lass! In kindergarten, Taylor and Torey used to look up bad words in the dictionary together. They've been best friends ever since!

Dan is a real-life Uncle Rico, but better. The Pride of Panama City aka PC2DC Dan is the greatest athlete to have never made it (just ask him). He’s also a Pike (just ask him), but Mike & Dan never met each other while at FSU and now it’s clear to see it was a blessing in disguise. Dan is also one of the most caring and genuine friends Mike has been lucky enough to make while in Charlotte. Dan is in medical sales and now lives in Washington DC with his fiancé, Alex… but we’ll get him back to Charlotte sooner than later!
Megan Dempsey

Mike's little sister, turned Taylor's bestie! Her secret talent is her ability to flawlessly quote any movie or television show with zero hesitation. For this reason, Taylor refuses to play any type of trivia with Megan.
Vinny Zaccario

Unlike Dan, Vinny experienced some actual athletic prominence as a D1 kicker while at FAU and Memphis. Vinny is also the go-to guy for the latest lines/spreads on everything from the NFL to Women’s Amateur European Basketball, is quite possibly responsible for putting the children of Jameson Irish Whiskey distributors through college (and maybe even grad school), and always down for a good time. Degenerate? Maybe. But he’s our degenerate and you won’t find a better guy. Vinny is in SaaS sales and lives here in Charlotte with his lovely girlfriend, Carson.

Not the druglord that his nickname suggests, Mike “Kilo” Kilpatrick is a silent assassin. Known amongst some friends as “The Pigeon”, he’s known for sitting back in the shadows of conversations, group chats, etc. until flying in out and nowhere and, well, doing what pigeons tend to do on people. After meeting on the golf course a few years back, Mike & Mike have formed a friendship built on a Scotty Cameron putter addiction, slightly above average (but never under par) golf, and great advice…which is usually one-sided coming from “Kilo”. Mike and his beautiful wife Stefani live here in Charlotte and are expecting a beautiful baby girl right around our wedding!
